At the end of the day–at the very end of life–I want to be found guilty: Guilty of giving more than I received, guilty of loving until I hurt, guilty of giving people the benefit of the doubt, guilty of trusting people, and guilty of thinking the best of people. Do you want to be guilty of being stingy or for offering a helping hand? Do you want to be guilty of not looking past the surface or would you rather be guilty of seeing the real person? Do you want to be guilty of holding a grudge or for forgiving and forgetting? What do you want to be guilty of?
