It’s time to give a shout out to my vet, Dr. Grossman at Sonoran Pet Clinic. I’m pretty picky on who I will allow to insert those thermometer sticks in my…errr how do I say it delicately? Well, I think you already know! Anyway, Dr. Grossman is a super nice human, gentle, and kind. His staff are always happy to see me. They have this really cool table that floats. Kid you not! You step on it and then you are going up into the air! I can jump pretty high, but Dr. Grossman says this is better for dogs who aren’t as athletic as me.
I recently had a lump on my leg that my mom felt. I knew it was fine, but she worried and took me in. Apparently since I turned 10, I’m a senior dog. Wait…what? How and when did this happen? No, I don’t think so. Thank you very much; not just yet. I’m a perma pup man!
My lump is just a fatty deposit they call Lipomas. Humans get them, too. Nothing to be concerned about. No pokes with vaccinations this time around, but the doc took me back and clipped my nails. Okay, I’m one tough dog, but I HATE having my nails clipped. I will run away from my mom and howl when caught. It doesn’t hurt, but I make a big stink—HUGE. My mom said she was tired of the drama, so off they took me to clip.
In seconds, Dr. Grossman had all my nails trimmed. I didn’t even have a chance to whine or scream…and I got a treat. If your humans are looking for a vet they can trust who genuinely cares about us canines and felines (he sees my brother, too), I’d recommend Sonoran Pet Clinic. They are located at 34406 N 27th Drive in Phoenix, AZ 85085. Their number is (623) 236-8993. Tell them Kuma sent you!
Stay healthy my friends.
